It's sometimes really tough to predict where a recruit is going to go to school. In the case of five-star dual-threat quarterback recruit Torrance Gibson, it has been especially difficult, because he has received interest from a bevy of schools. However, Gibson announced earlier today that Ohio State has taken the lead in his recruitment, and if his tweet is any indication, it's going to stay No. 1 all the way up until he eventually commits.

Why is Gibson so steadfast that the Buckeyes are his leader? According to Land Grant Holy Land, it's because of Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer.
"Urban Meyer is one of the best head coaches in college football. You have to respect that," Gibson told Land-Grant Holy Land. "But he also has proof because of his work with a left-handed quarterback who won the Heisman. Plus their spread attack offense works for me."
The "left-handed quarterback who won the Heisman" is of course former Florida star Tim Tebow, who compiled 4,181 total yards and 55 total touchdowns under Meyer when he won the Heisman in 2007.
This is incredible news if you're a Buckeye fan. Gibson is a massive recruit -- 24/7 Sports has him as the No. 26 player in America -- who, with some seasoning, has the potential to be a superstar. Given Meyer's track record of having great quarterbacks as a college coach, it's no wonder that Ohio State is the favorite to land Gibson right now.
