Ohio State quarterback Tate Martell is reportedly down to three transfer destinations. The Buckeyes backup quarterback is considering reportedly Miami, West Virginia and Louisville.
Martell reportedly visited West Virginia over the weekend and recently took a visit to Miami to check out the Hurricanes.
Martell has two connections to Miami, where two of his former high school teammates play for the Hurricanes – Brevin Jordan and Bubba Bolden, who played with Martell at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas.
Jordan signed with the Hurricanes out of high school and Bolden announced his transfer to Miami after two years at USC with the Trojans.
A cryptic tweet from Bubba Bolden had the college football world wondering if Tate Martell was the subject.

While Martell might be on the move, this tweet could have something to do with star wide receiver Jeff Thomas who left the program, but is reportedly considering a return to the Hurricanes.
Told by #UM source these tweets are about WR Jeff Thomas. I want to believe he’s back on the team, but considering how wishy-washy things have been on his end over time, let’s just say I’m cautiously optimistic this means he’s on the team. Once Miami announces, consider it real
