Tate Martell’s transfer recruitment is reportedly down to three schools. The former Ohio State quarterback is considering Miami, West Virginia and Louisville.
Martell was on a visit to West Virginia yesterday and is said to be at Miami today. The Hurricanes have two major connections to the former four-star recruit.
They are Brevin Jordan and Bubba Bolden, who played with Martell at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. Jordan signed with the Hurricanes out of high school, while Bolden announced his transfer to Miami this month.
Both players are actively recruiting Martell on Twitter.

Martell is looking to move on from Ohio State in the wake of Justin Fields’ transfer to the Buckeyes. Fields is likely to be OSU’s starter if he can obtain a waiver to play immediately from the NCAA.
As for Miami, the Hurricanes have struggled with quarterbacks recently, and landing Martell would be a major step toward stabilizing things at that position.
Martell played in six games this season for Ohio State, throwing for 269 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 128 yards and two scores.
