There are still a couple dozen more spring games to be played, but pretty much all of the big-time college football programs have already had theirs.
Here's which programs have had the highest attendance totals for their glorified scrimmages:
- Ohio State - 100,189
- Georgia - 93,000
- Alabama - 76,212
- Nebraska - 72,992
- Tennessee - 67,027
The Buckeyes set a national record with their attendance mark, becoming the first program in the history of college football to get 100,000-plus fans to show up for their spring game.
Georgia's attendance is almost just as impressive, though. The Bulldogs' had fans leaving the stadium because no seats were available to watch the first spring game of the Kirby Smart era in Athens, Ga.
