The first AP poll of the 2015 college football season is here.

Unsurprisingly, Ohio State has the top spot in the poll and received all 61 first-place votes, becoming the first school ever to achieve that. The Buckeyes were also ranked No. 1 in the country in the USA Today Coaches' Poll. Many are expecting Urban Meyer's team to repeat as national champions this season. OSU opens the season Sept. 7 against Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.

There are certainly other serious contenders, though.
