Tony Alford had high praise for Dobbins.
J.K Dobbins is just a freshman, but he's been unstoppable in his first season as an Ohio State Buckeye.
The freshman is averaging 7.5 yards per carry and has already recorded two games this season in which he ran for over 170 yards—including a 181-yard performance in his debut against Indiana.
Dobbins is a workhorse back at just 18 years old, and according to running backs coach Tony Alford, Dobbins is the better than any other running back he's coached at this stage.

Pretty crazy, but it just goes to show how impressive he's been. Dobbins was expected to be a band-aid while the Buckeyes awaited for Mike Weber's return, but instead he's been flat-out phenomenal. It's hard to believe he has at least two more years left.
