It appears that ABC is experimenting with a new camera angle for tonight's Ohio State-Wisconsin game in primetime.
Judging at home, it appeared to be slightly more diagonal at times while also a little bit more zoomed in. It is definitely different from the norm.
The early reviews for it are not good. People on Twitter have been crushing the new look in the early part of the game.
Trust us, there are many, many more where those came from. It isn't uncommon for fans at home to let their voices be heard if they don't like a certain aspect of the broadcast. Anyone else remember the glare at the Final Four in Houston back in April?
Anyway, looking past the camera angle and at actual on-field action, Wisconsin fans have to be encouraged by their team's start. The Badgers have stymied Ohio State's explosive offense early and lead 10-0 on a 46-yard field goal by replacement kicker Andrew Endicott and an Alex Hornibrook TD pass.
The Buckeyes have won the last four meetings between the schools, dating back to 2011. Included in that quartet of victories was a 59-0 demolition job at the 2014 Big Ten Championship Game.
However, Wisconsin has knocked off an undefeated Ohio State team at Camp Randall in 2003 and 2010. Maybe history will repeat itself tonight.
If it does, Badger fans will enjoy watching it from any angle.
