Urban Meyer Admits He Knew "Deep In (His) Heart" Ohio St Would Lose To Michigan St In '13 B1G Title Game

The worst loss of Urban Meyer's three-year career at Ohio State was apparently a loss he knew was coming.

On Dec. 7, 2013, the then-undefeated Buckeyes, who had won 24 straight games under Meyer, fell to Michigan State in the Big Ten Championship Game, 34-24. It ended the record winning streak and eliminated his squad from national championship contention. Following the contest, a photo was taken of a somber Meyer eating some pizza. It went viral

Monday afternoon, Meyer admitted he felt "deep in (his heart)" that OSU would fall to the Spartans.

It's somewhat surprising Meyer would admit that, but it's obviously easier to do so now that he has a national championship under his belt at Ohio State.

The Buckeyes and the Spartans will meet this season on Nov. 21 in Columbus.
