J.T. Barrett could be headed to New York.
Ohio State scored an improbable come-from-behind victory over Penn State on Saturday, and quarterback J.T. Barrett was the star. Barrett finished the day 33-of-39 for 328 yards with four touchdowns - likely earning himself a trip to New York in the process.
After the game, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer was asked about Barrett's name being in the Heisman conversation. He said it would be "appropriate" after the performance.
Barrett, on the year, has thrown for 1,838 and 21 touchdowns with just one interception. With the exception of the contest against Oklahoma, he's been one of the most efficient players in the nation.
