Urban Meyer Comments On The Aaron Hernandez Verdict
Former Florida and New England Patriots' star Aaron Hernandez was found guilty of first-degree murder on Wednesday. Hernandez, 25, will - save for an appeal - spend the rest of his life in prison.
Hernandez was coached at Florida by Urban Meyer, who is now the leader of the national championship-winning Ohio State program.
Meyer, who coached Hernandez from 2007-09, commented on the verdict Thursday afternoon during the Big Ten Coaches Teleconference.

Meyer was brief with his comments, but he's gone more in-depth about Hernandez in the past. Cleveland.com's Doug Lesmerises has a good summarization of everything the Ohio State coach has said about his troubled former player here.
