On Friday, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer released a lengthy statement. The release was in response to his lack of an apology to Courtney Smith during Wednesday's press conference.

In the aftermath of Meyer's belated apology, Stadium's Brett McMurphy tweeted that the new Meyer statement confirmed Courtney Smith's timeline of events. However, another reporter begs to differ.

Lettermen Row's Austin Ward countered McMurphy's assessment that Meyer was admitting Smith's timeline was correct.

The most interesting part about those tweets? Urban Meyer's daughter Nicki has retweeted all of them.

Nicki Meyer Dennis has been outspoken in support of her father throughout the investigation into Urban's handling of domestic violence allegations against Zach Smith. She has continued to do so after her father was punished with a three-game suspension last week.

Urban Meyer will miss Ohio State's first three games of the season, though he can return to the team for practices after Week 1.
