Apparently, coaches getting tattoos to commemorate national title victories is now a thing. In 2013, Louisville Cardinals head men's basketball coach Rick Pitino promised his players that he'd get inked if they won a title. They did, so he followed through. Ohio State football head coach Urban Meyer looks to be following in his footsteps.
According to Nicole Auerbach of USA Today, Meyer promised his guys after the Alabama contest that if they were to defeat Oregon in the title game, he'd get an Ohio State-related tattoo. The Buckeyes were able to knock off the Ducks, 42-20.

It also looks like there's no way Meyer is going to be able to back out. Heuerman is going to facilitate the whole ordeal.
"I'll supervise it," Heuerman said. "Trust me. I'm going to be right next to him.
"The first thing that went through my head (after Monday night's win) is, Coach Meyer's getting a tattoo."
It'll be interesting to see which design he chooses - hopefully that part is still up to him.
