There can't be too many people more thrilled for Ohio State's dominant Week 4 performance than Urban Meyer. After the Buckeyes beat Miami (OH) 76-5, he just couldn't help but share his joy with the world.
Taking to Twitter, Meyer tweeted a very familiar phrase. He wrote, "Best thing about 4-0..." and allowed everyone to respond with "The chance to go 5-0."
Meyer, of course, has plenty of experience going 4-0 and 5-0 at Ohio State.
The former Buckeyes head coach did so in five of his seven seasons there.
Last week, after Ohio State's blowout win over Indiana, Meyer made a similar remark. He tweeted, "Best thing about 3-0..." and let his followers fill in the blank.
Ohio State got off to a bit of a slow start in the first quarter, allowing Miami to take a 5-0 lead. But after J.K. Dobbins scored a touchdown for the Buckeyes, quarterback Justin Fields took the reins from there.
Fields scored a whopping six touchdowns in the second quarter. He had four through the air and another two on the ground. It was the most touchdowns by a Buckeyes player ever for a single quarter.
First-year head coach Ryan Day is off to a terrific start to his head coaching career. You can bet that Urban Meyer will be cheering him on all the way to the end.
