Ohio State absolutely dominated Michigan State in a 34-10 win on Saturday night. The Buckeyes continued their stellar play, moving to 6-0 in the process.
Many are already predicting OSU will be in the College Football Playoff this season. The team certainly looks the part midway through the regular season. The Buckeyes still have a few tough tests remaining this season though.
When Ohio State plays, it’s can’t-miss TV. And it’s no secret Urban Meyer keeps track of the school he used to coach for. After the game, Meyer took to Twitter to post his reaction of the Buckeyes’ big win.
Best thing about being 6-0…
— Urban Meyer (@CoachUrbanMeyer) October 6, 2019
Meyer knows all about being undefeated. He led Utah in 2004 and Ohio State in 2012 to undefeated seasons. Interestingly enough, neither of those seasons ended with a national championship.
Each of Meyer’s national title teams had one loss during the regular season. But the 2019 Buckeyes haven’t lost yet.
Looking ahead at Ohio State’s schedule, there are several tough tests remaining. The Buckeyes still have to play Wisconsin, Penn State and Michigan. All three teams are considered three of the four best teams in the Big Ten. Of course, Ohio State is currently the favorite — for good reason too.
The Buckeyes now have dominant wins over Cincinnati, Nebraska and Michigan State. But their toughest tests are yet to come.
Like Meyer, college football fans will pay close attention to the rest of Ohio State’s season.
