A Street Preacher Is Trashing Urban Meyer Outside Ohio Stadium

Urban Meyer returns to the sideline for Ohio State in about an hour, and not everyone in Columbus is thrilled about it.

Plenty of people outside the program think that Meyer should have faced a harsher punishment for how the situation with Zach Smith played out.

There's also at least one person making quite a ruckus outside Ohio Stadium.

A street preacher outside of the Horseshoe is apparently condemning Urban Meyer ahead of the game.

From ESPN's Ryan McGee:

Obviously the timing here is notable. However, this isn't exactly a unique scene for a college campus on a football Saturday.

You can find similar fire and brimstone preachers outside numerous stadiums, or on heavily trafficked street corners anywhere, even when that team's head coach isn't embroiled in scandal.

Still, emotions are high in Columbus. Hopefully people don't try to escalate things with him, and just enjoy the game today.

The Buckeyes kick off against Tulane at 3:30 p.m. ET.
