Urban Meyer Says Cardale Jones Is Ohio State's Starting Quarterback
It took two weeks, but Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer has finally admitted that the Buckeyes have a starting quarterback. Monday morning, Meyer, who saw his team blank Hawaii this past Saturday, 38-0, told reporters that Cardale Jones is the team's starting signal-caller. He added that J.T. Barrett will continue to get opportunities. Apparently, Meyer has communicated to Jones that he's the team's starter.

Neither quarterback played all that well against the Rainbow Warriors. Jones finished 12-of-18 for 111 yards, while Barrett put together an 8-of-15 for 70 yards performance. Perhaps Meyer's decision to officially name a starter will lead to better on-field results.
