Urban Meyer remains under investigation regarding his handling of domestic violence allegations against Zach Smith. The probe is expected to conclude shortly.

In the meantime, Meyer is on administrative leave. He's awaiting his fate, which should be decided in the next two weeks.

Many thought Meyer would be fired when news broke that he was being investigated. Now, a different punishment seems to be considered the most likely outcome.

In Vegas, the betting odds overwhelmingly say that Meyer will be suspended for at least one regular season game, but less than five. The betting line is -2000 that he'll be suspended, compared with +600 that he'll be fired.

If Meyer is suspended, it would make sense for him to miss the first two weeks of the season against Oregon State and Rutgers. Week 3 is against TCU, a tough neutral site game, while Week 4 is a cupcake against Tulane.

Oh, and Week 5? That is a road trip to Penn State. We would bet Meyer will be back for that.
