There's not much worse than when your favorite team loses to its biggest rival. It's gets worse when it happens season after season.

That's the reality Michigan and its fans have had to deal with for the past eight years. Ohio State pushed its winning streak to eight straight victories against the Wolverines after the Buckeyes' 56-27 dominant win on Saturday.

Michigan wasn't all that competitive after the first quarter of Saturday's game. It's been a rough stretch for Jim Harbaugh's team.

As if Michigan fans didn't feel bad already, several of Ohio State's senior players made the day much worse. The Buckeyes' senior class went a perfect 4-0 over the Wolverines, and had a bold statement after the game.

Rivalry Saturday isn't quite done yet for the Buckeyes. The seniors are letting Michigan and its fans know who's in charge of this classic Big Ten rivalry, in case it wasn't already evident.

Ohio State will now have a week to prepare for the Big Ten title game next Saturday. The Buckeyes' opponent is not yet determined. It will come down to the winner of Saturday's contest between Minnesota and Wisconsin.

If Ohio State can win its conference championship, the Buckeyes will be 13-0. That'll surely be more than enough for a College Football Playoff selection.
