On Thursday night, the Washington Redskins faced off against the Cincinnati Bengals in the second game of the preseason.
The Redskins have a major question at quarterback. In potentially his last season as the team's head coach, Jay Gruden has a decision to make.
Does he roll with the NFL veteran, Case Keenum, who started for the Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings? Or does he give the ball to rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins?
By the looks of it, Haskins might not give him a choice.
During the team's game on Thursday night, Haskins launched a touchdown pass while facing pressure from the Bengals defensive front.
It was Haskins' first touchdown pass in the NFL.
Check it out.
The former Ohio State star had to wait a bit longer than he wanted in the NFL draft. The Redskins eventually came calling with the No. 15 overall pick, giving Haskins a chip on his shoulder.
He struggled in his first preseason contest, throwing two interceptions. However, he showed no fear, launching the ball into tight windows and down the field.
Haskins doesn't lack confidence pushing the ball down the field, something Keenum has trouble with.
If the former Buckeye keeps making passes like this one, he'll start Week 1.
