Ohio State looks unstoppable right now against Miami (Ohio). The RedHawks took a brief 5-0 lead in the first quarter. But the Buckeyes exploded for 42 second-quarter point en route to a 49-7 halftime lead. The explosive plays didn't end at halftime, either.
Early in the third quarter, Ohio State quarterback Chris Chugunov aired out a 38-yard deep-pass to Garrett Wilson. The Miami (Ohio) defender was in a position to make a play, but Wilson "mossed" the defensive back before bobbling the ball a few times and making a spectacular TD grab.
It's certainly a sight to see and one of the best plays of this young college football season.
Ohio State is littered with explosive athletes like Wilson. Quarterback Justin Fields is another who's just about as explosive as they come.
The dual-threat quarterback was phenomenal in the first half scoring six total touchdowns. He now has 19 TDs this year.
Chugunov started the second half for the Buckeyes because of the large lead. Protecting Fields from injury is a priority for OSU head coach Ryan Day.
Speaking of Day, he's off to a stellar start in his first full-season as head coach at Ohio State. The Buckeyes are on the verge of moving to 4-0 — all wins coming in blowout fashion.
