There's a reason Ohio State-Michigan is regarded as the greatest rivalry in college football, let alone in all of sports. The hatred between the players, fans and coaches is as real as it gets.

The bad blood between the two programs has been evident so far in today's massive rivalry game. There's been several unsportsmanlike conduct penalties, as players are being a bit too rough after plays have been blown dead.

But Michigan players took the rivalry pettiness to a whole new level on Saturday.

Ohio State RB JK Dobbins was tackled for a short gain early in the second quarter. After the play was blown dead, two Wolverines defenders - DL Aidan Hutchinson and Carlo Kemp - literally untied and took off Dobbins' shoe.

As Klatt points out in the video below, not sure there's been anything like this before.

Guess that's one way to try and slow down Dobbins and this Ohio State rushing attack. So far, nothing else is working. The Buckeyes' running back already has 90 yards rushing on 14 carries and two touchdowns - it's not even halftime yet. Michigan will have to find some answers defensively to slow this Ohio State offense down.

The Wolverines will also have to stay composed and avoid dumb penalties moving forward to have a shot to upset the Buckeyes.
