The 2018 college football season is just a couple weeks away. One of the teams in contention for the College Football Playoff this season is the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Most of the focus on the Buckeyes' football program has centered around head coach Urban Meyer and ousted wide receivers coach Zach Smith. The university started an investigation to look into how Meyer handled assault allegations against his former assistant stemming from a 2015 incident.

While the investigation continues, Ohio State's players must gear up for the season.

Buckeyes defensive coordinator Greg Schiano had a message for his players earlier this week. "It's the Buckeyes against the world," he said.

Here's his brief speech that went viral.

Ohio State opens its season against Oregon State. That game is scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. ET kickoff and will be broadcast on ABC.

The question now becomes, will Urban Meyer be back for the start of the season? Or will Ohio State need to enter the 2018 campaign without him?
