Video: Ohio State Students Tore Down The Fences, Jumped In Mirror Lake On A Monday For 2nd Straight Year

Mirror Lake Jump, one of Ohio State's students' Michigan Week traditions in which the campus' youngsters plunge into the Buckeyes' frigid body of water, typically takes place the Tuesday night before The Game.

For the past two years, though, Ohio State's administration has attempted to regulate the event, putting up fences around the pond and forcing students to get a wrist band if they want to jump. This, unsurprisingly, did not work. The Buckeyes jumped in protest on a Monday night last year and they've done it again this year.

Mirror Lake was full of Michigan hating, fence-tearing Ohio State students Monday evening. The Twitter account @TheFakeLantern captured it all on video.

Ohio State and Michigan are set to kick off at 12 p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on ABC.
