Video: Ohio State's "Scarlet Team" Has To Mulch Buckeye Grove After Losing Spring Game

Almost every team has something at stake when the Spring Game rolls around. Last week at Tennessee's game, the 'stakes' were quite literally steaks; the winning team got an awesome meal, and the loser had to eat some some unappetizing pork and beans.

Ohio State took advantage of the Spring Game in order to help beautify Buckeye Grove. The scarlet team, which lost the game, was out mulching the grove today, which honors former Ohio State All-Americans. Poor running backs coach Stan Drayton was not thrilled, as he had to fight off allergies to help his players with the task. In an interview with Cleveland.com, he jokes that he wasn't thrilled with scarlet coach Tom Herman's.
