Dixon has battled adversity throughout his time at OSU.
When Ohio State takes the field against Indiana on Thursday, wide receiver Johnnie Dixon will be making his first career start.
Dixon has battled knee injuries throughout his first three seasons, appearing in only 14 games. Now healthy, he's earned a starting role, and OSU tweeted out an emotional video of wide receivers coach Zach Smith calling Dixon's mom to deliver the news.
"If I graded his camp, I'd give it an A," Smith says.

Dixon has only produced seven receptions for 55 yards with the Buckeyes, but he is a former stud recruit.
The potential is there for a huge season.
