What Ohio State Players Could Be First Round NFL Draft Picks In 2017

Ohio State's football program owned the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft on Thursday night.

The Buckeyes had five former players - Joey Bosa (3rd to San Diego), Ezekiel Elliott (4th to Dallas), Eli Apple (10th to NYG), Taylor Decker (16th to Detroit) and Darron Lee (20th to NYJ) - taken in the draft's first top 20 picks.

Urban Meyer is having quite a reload this offseason, as along with those five players, as many as 10 more could be drafted over the next two days.

What kind of reload will Meyer have to have in 2017? Which Ohio State players could go in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft?

Raekwon McMillan, junior LB

The former five-star recruit was one of the most-hype defensive recruits in Ohio State history. He's coming close to living up to that hype and should anchor the Buckeyes' defense in 2016.

Most NFL Draft projections have him going late first round.

Pat Elflein, senior OL

Some thought Elflein would be part of the Buckeyes' 2016 NFL Draft crop, but he opted to return for his senior season. He's moving to center and, save for J.T. Barrett, should be OSU's most important offensive player this fall.

Most NFL Draft projections have him going late first round.

J.T. Barrett, junior QB

This is a stretch, but you never really know with quarterbacks. If Ohio State wins a national title and Barrett has a big season, maybe he decides to leave for the NFL.

He doesn't possess elite NFL size or arm strength, but questionable QBs have been taken in the first round.
