Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott is a very popular player among Buckeye fans. Apparently, he's the favorite player of Columbus, Ohio sports broadcaster Beau Bishop's young son.
Bishop detailed on Facebook this afternoon how his son Payd was acknowledged by Elliott in the tunnel when he attended his first OSU game last fall. He quickly became the two-year-old's Buckeye of choice, so Beau and his wife made his son a deal. If he could successfully get through potty training, he would earn a No. 15 Ohio State jersey.
Apparently, Payd held up his end of the bargain, and Beau Bishop posted a video on Facebook today of his son receiving his Elliott jersey. It's heartwarming stuff.
When I took Payd to his first OSU game last fall we were walking down the players tunnel to the field, Ezekiel Elliott...
Zeke himself shared Bishop's post on Twitter.

Very cool. Athletes may not realize the impact they sometimes have on fans.
