The Ohio State-Michigan rivalry has been one-sided over the past six years. Ohio State is 6-0 in the last six meetings and is 13-1 against the Wolverines in the past 14 matchups.
While the rivalry has remained in Ohio State’s favor at the college level, it also seems to have leaked into the professional level as well. In practice on Wednesday afternoon, a former Ohio State star took an interception to the house.
He did it against a former Michigan quarterback.
Former first-round pick Eli Apple intercepted a pass from Jake Rudock as the New York Giants practiced against the Detroit Lions. Apple put six on the board for the Giants after getting the pick.
Practice is wrapping up. Play of the day was a pick-6 by Eli Apple of backup QB Jake Rudock in a two-minute drive.

This isn’t the first time the two have faced off against each other. However, with Matt Stafford controlling first team reps, they will likely not meet again any time soon.
Meanwhile, Ohio State and Michigan are both hoping to make the College Football Playoff this season. With a date in late November, both teams have the potential to ruin the other’s season.
