Here’s a revealing video from the Buckeyes’ loss to the Sooners.
If you want to blame J.T. Barrett for Ohio State’s struggles against Oklahoma, that’s fine.
The Buckeyes’ senior quarterback was not good in the loss to the Sooners. He completed 19 of 35 passes for 183 yards and 1 interception, with a lot of those yards coming after OU’s big lead was secured.
You should watch the following video, though, to get a sense of what the quarterback was seeing much of the night.
His wide receivers were just not open a lot of the time.

Ohio State’s offensive coordinator, Kevin Wilson, was asked tonight if he thought the Buckeyes’ WRs were open on Saturday night.
Kevin Wilson asked if wide receivers were open on Saturday. “I don’t think so.”

Wilson added that he felt this was due to the play-calling, not the wide receivers’ ability to get open.
Ohio State is set to host Army on Saturday.
