Sorrells is slated to make his official visit to Alabama today, and already made his visits to South Carolina and Penn State over the last few weeks.
247Sports rates Sorrells as the No. 157 prospect in the nation, the No. 16 defensive tackle prospect, and the No. 21 prospect from the state of Florida.
The 247Sports’ Crystal Ball Predictions gives Sorrells an 85-percent chance of joining Will Muschamp and the Gamecocks.
Alabama and Penn State are certainly not hurting for commitments this recruiting cycle, as they boast the No. 1 and No. 10 classes in the country respectively, according to 247Sports. Nevertheless, Nick Saban and James Franklin could certainly get the best out of the Florida native.
South Carolina, on the other hand, could certainly benefit from adding a star defensive tackle like Sorrells. The Gamecocks have the No. 21-rated Class of 2019, and are at the middle of the pack in the SEC hierarchy right now.
