Florida State’s firing of Willie Taggart has been the talk of college football over the past few days. The Seminoles are now seeking out their next head coach.
USC is expected to let go of their head coach eventually as well, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
Rumors have been swirling regarding who will take over the major positions. Names like Bob Stoops and Urban Meyer have dominated the conversation. But Penn State’s James Franklin has been thrown in the rumors as well.
On Tuesday, Franklin addressed the rumors and put them to bed for now. Here’s a bit of what he had to say.
“We love it here,” Franklin said. “I really enjoy coaching these guys, and I don’t really see that changing anytime soon. Looking forward to playing Minnesota.”
You can watch the rest of his response in the video below.
Every year, it seems, James Franklin has to address job openings.
This year's no different, and, once again, his answer's the same.

Franklin is clearly happy with where he’s at. Why wouldn’t he be? The Penn State Nittany Lions have a clear path to the College Football Playoff this season. PSU is currently ranked fifth in the latest edition of the AP Top 25.
Not to mention, Penn State isn’t really a step down from Florida State or USC whatsoever.
But until FSU, and potentially USC, finds its next head coach, Franklin’s name will continue to be thrown in the rumors.
