Another week of college football action kicked off earlier this week with a surprise performance from the UCLA Bruins against Stanford. Chip Kelly's squad took down the Cardinal to bounce back.

While that was a nice appetizer for the weekend of action to come, there are much bigger games on the docket.

One of the most-anticipated games of the weekend takes place in Happy Valley as the Penn State Nittany Lions host the Michigan Wolverines.

Penn State won a huge road game over Iowa last weekend to finally prove it's a legitimate contender in the conference. However, the Wolverines pose and even bigger threat to the Nittany Lions' undefeated season.

Here are the details for the Penn State-Michigan game:

Game Time: 7:30 p.m. ET

Channel: ABC

Spread: Penn State -9

Over/Under: 47

Announcers: Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Maria Taylor

After a blowout loss to Wisconsin, the Wolverines have bounced back with three-straight wins. Last weekend's game against Illinois provided a slight scare for Michigan fans, but a win moved the program to 5-1 on the season.

Now they head to Penn State to take on a Nittany Lions program that doesn't have a blemish on its record. Penn State needs a win over Michigan to keep pace with Ohio State in the Big Ten East.
