Penn State already has a strong 2018 recruiting class, and is in the running for some top uncommitted players.
One highly-rated 2018 recruit that is considering Penn State is Hightstown (N.J.) Peddie School four-star wide receiver Jahan Dotson. The Nittany Lions are one of over two dozen programs to have offered Dotson.
Dotson visited Happy Valley last week for Penn State's annual spring game, and now he appears to be trending toward the Blue and White.
The four most recent 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions, including one from Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong, indicated Dotson will be picking PSU when he ultimately decides on a school.
There is still a ways to go before signing day 2018, but this is an encouraging development for PSU.
Dotson is the No. 15 wide receiver in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
