The NCAA banned satellite camps today.
That's a win for the SEC (whose coaches repeatedly complained about them) and a loss for everyone else (most notably, Jim Harbaugh, who made the recruiting tactic popular).
It's also a loss for recruits, as it prevents players in certain areas of the country from getting exposure to schools in other areas of the country.
One such recruit, Alex Barbir, a three-star kicker out of Georgia committed to Penn State, let the NCAA know of his thoughts on Twitter.

Barbir, the No. 8 kicker in the 2016 class, became familiar with the Nittany Lions' program in June 2015. Penn State held a satellite camp at Georgia Southern last summer and Barbir attended, impressing PSU's coaches.
The Nittany Lions' recruit certainly isn't the only player who feels this way, either.
