Recruiting never stops for Penn State, as the prestigious program is preparing for arguably the most crucial weekend of the year.

The Nittany Lions already have a very talented class of incoming players for 2019, but James Franklin and his staff are looking to get an early jump on next year as well.

Out of the current high school seniors visiting this weekend, Florida State commit Nick Cross will headline the core of players making the trip to Happy Valley. The four-star safety is considered one of the best secondary players in his entire class.

Penn State holds the No. 10 spot in 247Sports' recruiting rankings, and that could definitely change if Cross flips his commitment.

Brandon Smith and Noah Cain are considered the true stars of the Nittany Lions' recruiting class.

As for the class of 2020 recruits making the trip to visit the coaching staff, four-star wideout KeAndre Lambert and four-star linebacker Curtis Joseph will be the marquee names on the list.

Lambert revealed his excitement for his official visit on Twitter:

Two defensive ends in Coziah Izzard and Aaron Lewis will also be part of the group heading to Penn State's campus.

The annual second Signing Day period begins on Monday and runs through Thursday, which ultimately means the Nittany Lions will have to make one last strong impression.

Stay tuned.
