Penn State QB Christian Hackenberg Injures Shoulder During Taxslayer Bowl

Update: Hackenberg has been ruled out of the rest of the contest. There's no word on the extent of his injury.

Earlier: Penn State junior quarterback Christian Hackenberg appears to have suffered an injury to his right shoulder during today's Taxslayer Bowl contest against Georgia. The Nittany Lions signal-caller headed to the locker room midway through the second quarter after landing awkwardly on the team's most recent drive.

Trace McSorley is now in at QB for PSU.

Hackenberg was 8-of-14 for 139 yards and an interception before the injury. Georgia leads 10-3.
