This weekend of college football doesn’t offer the tastiest match-ups of the season, but there are plenty of pivotal conference games on the schedule.
One of the biggest Big Ten games will kick off from Happy Valley as the Penn State Nittany Lions face off against the Purdue Boilermakers.
Purdue has been ravaged by injuries and won’t have starting quarterback Elijah Sindelar for several weeks. Star wide receiver Rondale Moore likely won’t play this weekend either as he nurses a knee injury.
It all sets up for Penn State to get the win, but in the Big Ten, no victories are guaranteed.
Here are the details for the Penn State-Purdue game:
Game Time: 12:00 p.m. ET
Spread: Penn State -28.5
Announcers: Bob Wischusen, Dan Orlovsky, Allison Williams
Penn State enters as the heavy favorite for a reason. Purdue will be without its starting quarterback and leading wide receiver this weekend.
The Nittany Lions demolished Maryland on Friday night, winning 58-0 despite going on the road. Now with the Boilermakers coming into State College, Penn State is expected to put a beat-down on Purdue Saturday afternoon.
Can the Nittany Lions avoid a letdown and keep their undefeated season alive? Stay tuned to find out.
