Penn State's James Franklin: "This Is My Dream Job. This Is Where I Want To Be"

Lock it up.

This afternoon, James Franklin met with the media for the first time as the new head football coach at Pennsylvania State University. Franklin was a Pennsylvania kid, growing up in Langhorne, a small town outside of Philadelphia, and spent summers in Pittsburgh during his youth -- he attributes his great interest in the PSU job to his childhood. In fact, Franklin was asked how long he plans to stay in Happy Valley (in relation to Bill O'Brien, who desired to coach in the NFL) and he was adamant -- Penn State is his dream job, and he isn't planning on going anywhere:

Penn State fans have to love the hire of Franklin, who not only fielded a competitive team at Vanderbilt, but has always been known as a very loyal and high-character guy. If he ends up at Penn State as long as one legendary former coach, the Nittany Lions will probably have accomplished some pretty big things.
