Penn State handled Maryland on Saturday to finish the season with a 9-3 record. The Nittany Lions had a solid campaign, but lost games to Ohio State, Michigan and Michigan State.

Penn State still has a shot at a New Year's Six game - depending upon how the College Football Playoff rankings shake out next week. Nittany Lions fans probably need to root for Ohio State in the league's title game to make that possible.

Sunday morning, there are a number of sites with bowl projections. Let's take a look at what they're saying for Penn State.

Jerry Palm of CBS Sports has Penn State in the Citrus Bowl against Kentucky. The Wildcats had a surprising year in the SEC.

Eric Single of Sports Illustrated also has Penn State in the Citrus Bowl - but against Mississippi State.

College Football News has Penn State in the Fiesta Bowl against Washington State. The Cougars posted a 10-2 record but won't be playing for the Pac-12 title this weekend.

There are still a number of possibilities for Penn State. We'll know the answer next Sunday.
