Photo: Penn State Students Went All Out For Hockey Tickets Today

The students are pumped.

Penn State may have just started its hockey program only a couple of years ago, but the excitement in Happy Valley for hockey is already very noticeable. Tickets for the 2013-2014 season went on sale today, and students were lining up awaiting a chance to see their Nittany Lions play.

The turnout was so large that Penn State actually had to postpone the sale of tickets until further notice. Take a look at some of the pictures from Happy Valley this morning:

Penn State was an independent in men's hockey last year, but this year the Nittany Lions will be one of the six teams in the new Big Ten Conference. Penn State's first game at the brand new Pegula Ice Arena will be against Army on October 11th.
