Photo: Penn State's Players Are Pretty Excited That They Can Go To A Bowl Game

The NCAA announced this afternoon that the Penn State football program's sanctions following the Jerry Sandusky scandal have, mostly, been lifted. The Nittany Lions, who had been placed under a four-year bowl ban in 2012, are now eligible to play in the Big Ten Championship Game, bowl games, and, beginning in 2015-16, will get all scholarships back that were previously taken away. They remain under probation.

James Franklin's players appear to be quite happy following the news.
