The State College Spikes -- the short-season single A baseball team that plays on the campus of Penn State -- announced earlier this year that they will hold a bobblehead night honoring Nittany Lion football coach James Franklin on August 28. Today, the team unveiled the bobbleheads on its official Twitter account.

Unfortunately, Franklin won't be in attendance for the occasion, as Penn State kicks off its season two days later at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland against UCF. This isn't the first time the Spikes have honored a Penn State football coach with a bobblehead, as the team held a Bill O'Brien bobblehead night last year.
