Video: Keith Olbermann Apologizes For Penn State Tweets, But Nittany Lions Supporters Aren't Impressed

Last Tuesday, ESPN personality Keith Olbermann was suspended for one week following comments he made on Twitter regarding Penn State and its THON fundraiser. Olbermann, who blasted Penn State back in January after the NCAA agreed to restore Joe Paterno's 111 vacated victories, returned to the air Monday, and his first line of business was to address the situation.

Olbermann gave a nearly seven-minute monologue on the topic, apologizing for the transgression. In the segment, he also placed a bit of blame on social media, and urged fans to donate to two of his favorite charities. Check it out:

Penn State fans and publications aren't exactly impressed, however. Many questioned the method of his apology, and expressed disappointment that he didn't announce that he'd be donating to THON, as requested.

What do you think, Penn State fans? Was his apology sincere, or did it come off as forced?
