The Louisville football job is one of the best currently available, but there aren't too many whispers about how that coaching search is going. That should be pretty disconcerting for fans of Purdue football, and those who hope to hang on to head coach Jeff Brohm.

Brohm is a Louisville alumnus, and one of the faster rising coaches in college football. After Bobby Petrino's firing a few weeks ago, most just penciled in Brohm as his successor.

Of course, Purdue is heading to a second-straight bowl. Brohm turned the program around quick, captured a huge win over Ohio State this year, and has a true superstar to build around in freshman Rondale Moore.

Brohm has downplayed the heavy Louisville rumors over the last few weeks, but until the Cards hire someone else, they're not going away.

According to Rondale Moore, Jeff Brohm addressed the Purdue football team directly about the Louisville job rumors.

He said that his head coach told the team it has nothing to worry about.

Purdue clinched a six-win season with a 28-21 victory at rival Indiana this afternoon.

David Blough threw for 310 yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to Moore, who caught 12 passes and 141 yards.
