Purdue Is Halfway To A Big Upset Over Louisville
The Boilermakers are halfway to a serious upset.
Purdue - yes, that Purdue - is halfway to the biggest upset of Week 1.
The Boilermakers are taking on No. 16 Louisville at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The Cardinals entered the game as a 25.5-point favorite, but at halftime, they're trailing.
Purdue has taken a 14-10 lead into the half.
Louisville has had little trouble moving the ball against Purdue - Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson has more than 200 passing yards and more than 50 rushing yards - but the Cardinals have had some critical red-zone mistakes. Two red-zone fumbles and five penalties on the offense line have pushed the Boilermakers out in front.
The game is being televised on FOX.
