Photos: Purdue's Ross-Ade Stadium Has Giant Hole In Field Following Flooding

Things haven't been going well for Purdue football the last few days.

First, the team was blown out, 50-7, by Maryland on Saturday. Now, the Purdue stadium turf is caving in. Seriously.

Purdue's sports turf crew Twitter account posted pictures this morning of flooding inside Ross-Ade Stadium. Apparently, a pipe burst, and not only sent water everywhere, but also caused the formation of a large hole.

That looks like it will take some time to fix.

Fortunately for the Purdue turf caretakers, the Boilermakers are on the road this weekend at Illinois. They will be back at home on Oct. 15 against Iowa. Hopefully, the field will be in better shape by then.
