On July 1st, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights will move from the American Athletic Conference to join the Big Ten for all university sports. The school will bring in significantly more money in its new conference, and a change of scenery certainly can’t hurt — Rutgers didn’t fare so well in the football standings and isn’t performing much better this season on the hardwood.
Even though the move is still months away, Rutgers is already getting prepared for the switch. In fact, the Big Ten Conference logo has already been placed on the field at High Point Solutions Stadium, according to Senior Associate AD of Communications Jason Baum:
