Rutgers Declares Night Game Against Michigan A "Blackout" For Fans

Earlier today, the Big Ten Network officially announced the "primetime" slate for its 2014 football coverage, which will include two games for one of the league's newbies - Rutgers. Though the Scarlet Knights will officially make their Big Ten debut against Penn State at home on September 13th, the school has officially declared October 4th's game against Michigan to be its annual "Blackout".

Here's the tweet the school sent out to inform fans of its decision.

It's also a safe bet that we'll see some red-on-black uniforms for the affair. A win against the tradition-rich Wolverines would certainly be a nice introduction into the conference - we'll see if they can pull it off.
