Video: Louisville Runs Over Rutgers, Russ Smith Dunks Like A Man

A tale of two halves.

Score: No. 11 Louisville68, Rutgers 48

Star(s):Louisville:Wayne Blackshear 19 Pts, 1 Reb. Russ Smith 14 Pts, 5 Reb.

Story: It is hard to play in Piscataway. The environment is never one that away teams look forward to, and the first half showed that. Louisville struggled, leading by a mere two points at the half.

But in the second half, the game took a bewildering turn. So much so that when it was over, Gorgui Dieng had six blocks and Wayne Blackshear had a career high of 19 points. Even though the sophomore was already hitting shots in the first half (he had 11 at that time), it was his three in the second half that surged Louisville ahead. In fact, a 23-2 run followed Blackshear's 3-pointer. Not too shabby. Other second half happenings to take note of? Please, continue on to the highlight of the game.

Highlight of the game: No words for this dunk. Just smiles.
