Wisconsin Lineman Has To Quit Football Due To Migraines

Jordan Kohout had to make a tough decision.

This wasn't the way that Jordan Kohout expected his career to end. ESPN is reporting that the Wisconsin Badgers defensive tackle recently decided to end his playing career and accept a medical scholarship.

Kohout started to get recurring migraines in spring practice this year after participating in contact drills. He then underwent further evaluations that ultimately revealed he had suffered two minor strokes, which left him with no choice but to hang it up.

Kohout will stay with the team as a student manager for his senior year.
